Position : Test Engineer for Tiano (Next generation BIOS)

Number: 1~2

Time Period: At least one year, can be longer; At least four days every week


Responsibilities:

Successful candidate will be working in Tiano Core Platform Team of ICSC, resp
onsible for the basic input/output management system software validation. Work
environment is global in a joint effort with US counterparts and other remote
sites.

Qualifications:

1 Senior student who has been recommended to be postgraduates; Postgr
aduates in Grade one or Grade Two

2 Major in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer S
cience, Automation or related fields.

3 Strong C/ C++ programming skills

4 Good hardware and software programming knowledge of PCs

5 Good system knowledge on Intel® architecture and validation too
ls on firmware

6 Good understanding of software engineering processes and methods

7 Strong English verbal and written communication skills

8 Strong team player with initiative, self-motivation and flexibility
in dealing with ambiguous situations
